Since our very beginning, DramaWorks has been at the leading edge of exploring family dynamics in the organizations.

All of us, to one extent or another, play out the dynamics from our family of origin in the workplace. We notice that people often work in organizations that have familiar issues. Some people recognize this pattern and find ways to change the dynamics at work or leave to find work elsewhere.

Wealthy families are in a world that is fundamentally different from most people on the planet. As one of our clients has said, "Wealth is an amplifier for everything," both for what works and what doesn't work.

DramaWorks has worked with many wealthy families and their advisors. This work has occurred in conferences, private meetings and workshops. Additionally, we have worked directly with entities known as family offices.

None of our work could be videotaped due to the need to protect privacy. But in 2008, with longtime DramaWorks partner and collaborator Kathryn Davison PhD we created a series of viral videos on issues that we discovered in interviews with wealthy individuals and their family members.
